I've filmed in downpours like this often enough that I'm not exactly eager to go running around in it when I don't have to.

[leaves her sword sheathed and lets her boot-heels make noise on the cave floor so as not to imply ambush, approaching the rain. It's not full of ashes here. It doesn't smell of burnt foliage and bodies left to rot. When she sticks her hand out to touch it, it doesn't burn.]

When I woke up, after a year in a coma, the world was all but destroyed. Plants, animals--all of it was dying.

This must be what people mean when they speak of miracles.
