[if you look upon the The Fussin' Overlook™ this lovely afternoon, you will notice a giant robot standing with his hands idly on his hips with a serene expression on his face, quietly enjoying the sunset]

[it's also raining like fuck, but he doesn't seem to care.]

[standing at the nearest cave mouth, peering out at a lot of wet robot]

What, uh, what's out there?

[looking back at the sound of Tavros's voice, but stays put]

Something beautiful.

[squinting in confusion]

...Rain?

[shaking himself off before walking over and leaning down on one knee, blocking the entrance of the cave off so Tavros doesn't get wet]

The sunset too.

[you are such a polite robot :< ]

Oh. I've never, uh, really seen one of those, since, on Alternia, the sun was, pretty dangerous.

... Would you like to? There's still time.

[placing one of his hands on the ground, indicating that Tavros should step onto it]

Okay, um, that sounds like, a nice thing, to share.

[clang! robot feet on your robot hand]

[eyebrow raise, but doesn't say anything as he hovers his other hand carefully over Tavros's head to shelter him from the rain and walks them back out to the edge of the cliff]

See that?

[holding onto your thumb for balance]

It's very, colorful, out there, at the horizon.

It only lasts a moment, but that's part of what makes it beautiful.

That sounds like, the sort of thing, you'd say in poetry, I think.

[chuckling]

It's just what I think.

Do you, uh, do robots have poetry?

We do. But I never had the chance to read that much of it, so I can't really tell you what it's like.

Was it, only for some people, to read? Or robots, I guess.

... Yeah. Some are luckier than others.

[nods solemnly]

Alternia was, like that too, mostly.

[moving the thumb Tavros is clinging ever so slightly, as sort of gentle understanding pet of sorts]

But some of us make our own luck.

[clingin' a little tighter]

That sounds, like a nice way to live.

Not everyone thinks so. But most of them were always lucky.

Y-yeah. I, uh. I definitely, knew someone, like that.

[...another reassuring thumb pet as he ruminates over how to respond]

It's... not easy. To not be lucky. To be told that that's all you deserve. It's not. You deserve more than that.

[there is a plink of troll horn leaning against robot thumb]

You're, uh, very nice. To me. And, in general, I think.

[slight awkward, sheepish chuckle]
