They, uh, mostly take care of themselves, if you put them back, in your sylladex, when you're not playing with them.

Okay, sometimes, it helps, to not think about it very closely, especially, if you don't customize, your modus, or anything.

Try just, putting the cards away, without thinking about where you're carrying them.

[she tries, and gets them in her backpack, but they are definitely a pack of cards in her backpack. She takes them back out again and stares at them for a while, and then deliberately focuses her thoughts on the process of learning a complicated spell while she tucks them away. They disappear but she knows exactly where to find them.]

....That is amazing.

[she wishes she could teach Tavros something as useful and interesting as this. Does this mean she gets to stop dragging the army pack around? ...Soldier, that sounds suspiciously like complaining. Stow that nonsense immediately.]

Just like that, and, with practice, you can learn, to organize it in different ways, even though, I think, a lot of the time, that is more for showing off, than because it is helpful.

[she smiles, and it feels strange on her face, when it's not meant to intimidate or to hide her actual feelings. It seems making friends might be worth the trouble after all.]

[a bit wryly] You realize that now you've told me that I will spend untold hours figuring out how to organize it. But that's okay.

[she stands up from where she's been sitting to play the game, and stretches all the sore muscles out. she is really desperately out of shape. Funny what a year asleep will do for you.]

...I wish I knew where to find magicite here. I'd like to give you something back, for all the nice things you've done.

That would be, really amazing, if you could, do that. Maybe, uh, the dwarves would know, where to find some, or who could help you?

[gods and demons, is that look a spell of some kind? she is pretty sure that look would break a harder heart than hers. Now she really has to try. Has no one ever done something nice for him?

....Well, this is the first place people have done nice things for her, so that question is probably stupider than it sounds, and also irrelevant to the current mission, which is clearly Find Some Magicite.]

Maybe they would! Shall we go and ask them? I haven't sensed any Espers around here, but they hide very well.

[It would be nice to have Terra for this; Espers might not appreciate her magic, torn from one of their own in a lab. But she'll try anyway.]
